Meeting Minutes: February 2022
Thank you for joining us at the February 2022 Digital Media Community of Practice! We wanted to especially thank our presenters, Chris Crowley, Nicole Ronan, Namsook Jahng and John Cheng from the Learning Design Team at CTLT for presenting at this CoP.

Summary of Meeting:
The topic of the meeting was Video and Learning: Examples of Effective Pedagogical Strategies for Educational Media – a Presentation and Discussion with Learning Designers from the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology.
The team from CTLT presented on various projects including MOOCS, gamification projects and other educational videos that were implemented in courses. They also discussed and showcased some of the technology/platforms that was used to create these courses, including Canvas and Articulate Storyline. This was followed by a brief Q+A session.
It was mentioned during the panel discussion that there is an upcoming H5P symposium that will be happening next week. H5P is a tool that enriches html content, which can be used in various educational digital media contexts and platforms such as Canvas. This tool also allows for more interactivity with video content and so much more! You can register for the upcoming symposium at CTLT’s event page here.
