Hi everyone!
These are the minutes for our DM CoP meeting for March. As you can see in the minutes, there are some big changes coming to the layout of our DM CoP group. We will now be holding our group meetings every two months (bi-monthly). During the months that we do not have our meetings, the several dedicated working groups are expected to meet and work on the projects that they are pursuing. These working group meetings will be organized and coordinated by the group itself. Any questions about ongoing working groups and how to join one can be directed at Saeed.
On that note, we also had updates to one of our working groups in this meeting, the DIY working group. The largest news of this update is that the Lightboard room in UBC studios is officially up and running, ready to be booked by staff and faculty members of UBC.
The creation of a new working group for the Digital Media in Education conference in 2017 is also being discussed, spearheaded by the team working out of UBCO. Please contact Rosemary if you have any questions about this or are interested in joining this group.
